8 days 'til Christmas

Hey there,
Regan's Basketball Team got thier 1st win tonight against Kayla Middle School. Regan played great as usual. Got some far shots, some layups and even an ally-oop or 2. They are 1-1 in District play. Great Job Regan!!!!

Rachel got a hair cut; a short one. Its super-cute even though she cried through the whole thing once she realized how short it was, she likes it now.

Regan has an appointment at Texas Childrens today and her BMI is only 3%. So that got lower since her last vist which was 5%. Time to load her up on McDonald's.

Anyway this one is short and sweet. Later

A crazy few weeks at the Halleck house !!!!!

Well its been a busy fews weeks since my last post. Thanksgiving was fun. We spent it at my sister's house and had the traditional turkey and stuffing.

Since then we've had lots of soccer with Ryan's team making it to the Semi-final game of the district playoffs in Clear Lake 2 weeks ago, and Regan's team winning it all at the State Championships in San Antonio last weekend. WAY TO GO DYNAMO'S!! Rachel also played in a 3v3 this past weekend making it to the semi final game. And Rachel's RED HOTS team made it into the district playoffs as well. YEAH RACH!!!

Regan made the 7th grade basketball A team at Truitt and starts in-district play tonight. Good Luck Timberwolves and Go Regan!!!!

Ryan made the JV Soccer team for Cy-Ridge High School and his games start early 2008. Great Job Ryan!

We've already had the Choir Christmas concert and a few parties. 15 days to Christmas...AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

BACK from BON JOVI

Hi there....Our trip last weekend to New Jersey was so amazing.

Friday, we flew in to New Jersey to go see the BON JOVI concert and got to the hotel around 1:30pm. We found this awesome little bar called The Arena which is a block from the Prudential Center. We got there at 5pm and everyone in there was wearing Bon Jovi shirts, buttons, jackets...you name it. They were only playing Bon Jovi songs and everyone was drinking and singing along with the music. It was great. We got over to the concert around 8pm and JBJ rocked the house for almost 3 full hours, sang 27 songs. AMAZING. and yes...we sang along to every one of them. We got back to the hotel around 1:15 am.

Saturday, we ate breakfast at the hotel and headed into New York City via the lovely NJ Transit system. Once out of Penn Station we headed straight for a hot dog vendor. Yum. It was about 40 degrees and I was totally freezing. We ate a slice of Pizza too before we got the the Blue Man Group show off Broadway. That was so funny. I loved it. Highly recommend seeing it.

Then we walked around New York and visited the World Trade Center Site. It's wild how any visitors were there still, walking around it and trying to catch a glimpse of what they are building. We headed back to Time Square and ate dinner at the ESPN Zone and had a couple of drinks. we then walked to Rockefeller Center to see the Christmas tree being set up and ready for lights. Then it was back to the train and we got in around 1am again.

Sunday, we got up and went to visit Craig's family before catching the plane and heading home. Craig's grandmother had just had surgery and looked awesome. We had a great weekend.

Saturday...Regan won her game 4-1, Rachel lost 3-2 in a heartbreaker, and Ryan tied 4-4 against a very unsportsmanlike Klien Independent team. Plus Regan had her Solo and Esemble contest for choir. LALALALALA

Sunday...Rachel's Jr Dynamo Team won 2-1 and Ryan also Won 2-1 to put his team into the Texas Youth Soccer Association playoffs in December! Way to go!

This coming weekend Craig and I are flying to New Jersey to see BON JOVI ( the greatest band ever created) in the new Prudential Center in Newark. It's going to be crazy. Then, we are off to hang out in New York for the rest of the weekend. Can't wait!

Halloween 2007

Well its Halloween day and we'll be out in the neighborhood tonight.
I'm dressing as a hippie chic, not a far stretch from my natural personality ha. Ryan will be Jason from Friday the 13Th, Regan is "confused"(no comment), and Rachel is a charm school witch. Fun Fun.

This weekend we have 5 soccer games between 3 kids plus Regan has her Solo & Ensemble contest for Choir..... AND we have the Houston Dynamo playoff game Friday night. Never a dull moment. So make that 6 soccer games in 3 days.

Regan's Volleyball season is going awesome!! They are undefeated w/ 3 games to go and last week they beat the next best team in their division in 3 games. Lost the 1st one 25-20, Won the 2ND in extra points 28-26, and Won the 3rd 25-21. Man, you'd have thought it was the world series or something in that Gym.

Anyway, everyone is doing great and ready for some candy!
